In the last set of round two matches, FaZe decimated Cloud9 2-0 (Cache 16-1, Inferno 16-8) and G2 picked up a 2-1 win over Astralis (Cache 16-10, Overpass 12-16, Inferno 16-7).
The rematch of the ELEAGUE Major grand final between FaZe and Cloud9 began on Cache, with the former getting off to a flying start on their own pick as Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer grabbed a triple in the pistol round to go up 4-0.
The American side then responded with a forcebuy, but that was all they could do on the defense as the European squad decimated the first half with a 14-1 scoreline, with barely any rounds getting close. It was only a matter of time before FaZe picked up the lead in the series, with Nikola "NiKo" Kovač putting up four kills in the second pistol round to end the thrashing 16-1.
Inferno followed and FaZe once again got the better start on the back of Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács's triple in the pistol and an ace in the following anti-eco. Thanks to a plant, Cloud9 were able to buy up in the third round and equalize the score 2-2, but Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team got their lead back following doubles from Håvard "rain" Nygaard and GuardiaN.
It was 7-3 before Cloud9 found a way to break the defense, netting three rounds in a row, though that's where their success ended as FaZe switched over to the Terrorist side with nine rounds in the bag.
Coming out on top of an early back-and-forth, FaZe kept extending their lead with several comfortable attacks until it was 15-7. Cloud9 then got their second round on the board, but it was too little too late as NiKo and karrigan grabbed doubles in the following round to finish off the series 16-8, 2-0.

G2 and Astralis also began their series on Cache, picked by the Frenchmen, who also started 4-0 after surviving a close 1v4 attempt from Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth in the pistol round and two anti-forcebuys in a row. Once the Danes got full weaponry, they were able to close the distance and, at the very end of the half, take the 8-7 lead before switching over to the CT side.
The second half was all about Richard "shox" Papillon & co., who grabbed the pistol and broke their opponents' economy multiple times over the course of the half, with Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt finding quite some success with the Krieg in hand to finish off map one 16-10.
Astralis' pick, Overpass, went much better for Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander's team who established their dominance from the get-go, going up 7-0 before G2 managed a response with two rounds in a row. Nicolai "device" Reedtz's 1v2 clutch stopped the short-lived streak as the Danish side went 10-2, while the Frenchmen secured the remaining three rounds in the half.
With a pistol round in the bag in thanks to NBK- defusing the bomb in a 3v2 situation and Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro clutching a 1v2 in the first full buy round, G2 began the climb back. They grabbed their first lead on the map at 11-10 before Astralis stopped their momentum with three comfortable rounds in a row. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire's quad-kill was the only thing that could stop the Danes from that point on, as Astralis powered to a 16-12 victory to push the series to the deciding map, Inferno.
G2 kicked things off with a simple strategy towards B in the pistol round to go 3-0. The first buyrounds went back and forth, but once apEX and NBK- combined for an ace to reset their opponents, the half was firmly in the hands of the French team. Good play from device, capitalizing on G2's mistakes in a 4v2 situation, gave Astralis their third round at 9-3, but another reset came in afterward as HoFai "Kenny" Lo and shox outplayed their opponents in a long 2v2.
That allowed G2 to rack up a massive 12-3 lead, although Astralis picked up the next pistol round following Emil "Magisk" Reif's quad-kill, closing the gap to six rounds. apEX's 1v2 clutch in the first buyround pushed his team to 13 rounds, however, which helped G2 regain momentum and secure a 16-7, 2-1 victory shortly after.
